Before restarting Store Information Store We Need to Understand what Information Store (or store.exe) is?
The Exchange store (Store.exe) is the core data storage repository for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. This is the service that starts and stops the Store.exe process. In some troubleshooting scenarios, you may need to restart the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service.
To perform this procedure, the account you use must be delegated the Membership in the local Administrators group
Procedure
To restart the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service
#1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.
#2. In Services, in the details pane, locate the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service.
#3. Right-click the service, and then click Restart.
